In the afternoon we travel North to Tui, a town straddling the border between Portugal and Spain. The journey takes us through picturesque landscapes, setting the tone for the days to come. Enjoy dinner and settle into your accommodations in Tui, a town rich in history with its impressive cathedral and medieval streets.

Begin your pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago with a gentle 17 km walk from Tui to O Porriño. This stage takes you through peaceful woodlands and along the Louro River, offering a mix of natural beauty and quiet contemplation. After reaching O Porriño, you'll be transferred back to Tui. Return to Tui for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, transfer by bus to continue your walking pilgrimage from O Porriño to the coastal town of Vilaboa. This 23 km stage is a bit more challenging, but the reward is worth every step. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax in your accommodation, reflecting on the day’s journey.

Today’s shorter walk of 13 km takes you from Vilaboa to the historic city of Pontevedra. Cross the ancient Roman bridge and enter a city filled with architectural beauty and rich history. After dinner, take some time to explore Pontevedra’s charming old town or simply rest and recharge.

After breakfast set out on a 23 km walk from Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis, a town famous for its thermal springs. The route takes you through scenic countryside, vineyards, and peaceful villages. Relax in your accommodation after dinner, perhaps with a soothing visit to the thermal baths, a tradition in Caldas de Reis.

After breakfast, continue your pilgrimage with a 18 km walk to Padrón, a town with deep connections to the Apostle St. James. The route offers beautiful rural landscapes and the chance to visit the church where St. James’s body was believed to have been brought ashore. Savor a well-earned dinner and enjoy your stay in Padrón, a town rich in Galician culture and history.

The final leg of your pilgrimage covers 25 km from Padrón to Santiago de Compostela. As you approach the city, anticipation builds, culminating in your arrival at the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago, the spiritual and emotional highlight of your journey. Celebrate your accomplishment with your fellow pilgrims over dinner to share your experience.
